Updates!

Wed Dec 16, 2009, 1:23 PM
So in an effort to get the year old journal off my homepage, let's do some updates.
I don't work Renaissance faires any more, which means I don't have those, oh, I won't be home for three weeks romps in the wilderness with a bunch of drunkards.
Faire is cool once in a while, but living in a constant state of Faire, it gets old.

I'm moving to LA come this weekend, and am already all packed. I have a place secured in a three room townhouse, just one roommate, an old faire friend. I was supposed to be moved out today, but due to storms and frozen roads, it's been delayed. So I have very little to do aside from updating my DA and chatting with my repo people.

I'm still a huuuge repo head. And I've got some fanart to scan in once my scanner gets unpacked.

Updates to my tools for art are as follows: Got a tilt table and a lighting board, pastels, and watercolors, a really good set of pencils and I just keep using those damn gelpens in black, because the lines are nice. Next on my wishlist is a set of Prismacolor markers, but that's an eventually thing.

I'm a little strapped for cash, as most people are these days. Rent now has to come first, food second, and repo a sad third. Thank goodness I'll be living close enough to my own repo cast, I won't HAVE to go galivanting all over the country to see others. (Doesn't mean I won't, mind you... Again, eventually)
I do, however, have an extra room at the new place. This means if repo people wanna come see ATTK, I *may* be able to give you crash space. Talk to me, we'll make plans.

I have one new job secured, showing off the CutCo brand of knives, and I'm hoping for the internship I applied for at a gallery near my place. I'll probably be picking up other odd work, as well.

So, Pimpin' time:

REPO EXPANDS

Thu Nov 27, 2008, 9:23 PM
Darren Bousman, Director of Repo, just popped into the chat (on Thanksgiving, gosh this guy is devoted) To ask all of us present to pimp out the two newest repo locations,
MICHIGAN:

And in Chicago:

Because when the director is spending Thanksgiving asking fans to promote the show due to a lackof advertising from Lionsgate Films, you just can't say no. So those of my friends who are close enough to go, Hit up these locations and check out the show.

Repo! The Genetic Opera

Sat Nov 8, 2008, 8:23 AM
Went to the Repo premier in Vegas a couple of nights ago. Had a blast. I have a very blurry picture of my attacking Pavi (OhGr of Skinny Puppy)'s pants, and someone somewhere has a pic of my attacking Terrance Zdunich's pants while he strangles me with a scarf. So naturally I'll be uploading a few pics very soon.

The movie itself is whoaomgwtfbbqawesomesauce.
I am both awestruck by it and absoloutely unable to force words to explain why from my mouth. But I'm going to go see it again on Monday.

Relocation and family

Wed Oct 29, 2008, 12:50 PM
Some of you may already know; a couple of days ago, my little brother had an accident. He flipped his bicycle, and the handlebar pierced his abdomen. He was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, and he bled out on the way there, due to the bike having clipped a couple of arteries. His heart stopped, but they got it started again, and they refilled him with blood transfusions. Long story short, we're still going through some scares, and I've been temporarily kicked outta the waiting room so I can get some rest.

Tak to yall later.
